Ms. Dixie is the teacher in this classroom and she does a wonderful job preparing her students for first grade. We are very fortunate here at our school, to offer the low ratio of 1 teacher for 12 students. The students in Ms. Dixie’s class work on a Language arts program which includes a reading program from SRA along with Spelling and Phonics also thru SRA. A math program, social studies, science/ health, music and art. At the end of our school year each student takes a standardize test for easier placement in first grade.
